Section 1 - Introduction
Welcome to the whitepaper for the MetaHero Project, powered by BNB Chain. In this document, we will describe the problem our project aims to solve, introduce our solution using BNB Chain for cryptocurrency transactions, and outline the benefits of using avatar scans for virtual try-ons, gaming, and medicine. We will also delve into the security and privacy measures we have in place for our network, as well as the token economics and roadmap for the project.
The problem
In the digital age, more and more of our interactions are taking place online. However, there is still a lack of realistic and accurate representation of ourselves in the virtual world. Traditional avatars and profile pictures are often limited in their ability to truly capture our physical appearance and characteristics. As a result, we often feel disconnected from our online selves, and the virtual world can feel impersonal and lacking in human connection.
Currently, many people misunderstand the concept of the "metaverse" and see it as a destination for fully immersive virtual experiences, rather than a tool to enhance and augment our real lives. However, research has shown that the use of accurate avatars in virtual environments can lead to more effective decision-making and problem-solving (Liu et al., 2018). By using exact copies of our bodies in virtual environments, we can make more informed and accurate decisions that can then be translated back into the real world.
This disconnection can also have negative impacts on our mental health and well-being. Research has shown that the lack of nonverbal cues in online communication can lead to misunderstandings and conflicts (Kappas, 2012). In addition, the inability to fully express ourselves online can lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation (Kuppens et al., 2008).
At MetaHero, we are committed to delivering the best possible experience of using avatar scans in the real world. Our project aims to create a strong connection between the real world and the metaverse, using exact copies of our bodies to enhance and augment our daily lives. With the use of advanced imaging and scanning technologies, as well as machine learning algorithms, we are able to create highly accurate and realistic avatars that reflect the unique physical characteristics of each user.
By using these avatars in virtual try-ons, gaming, and even medicine, we can create a more immersive and personalized experience for users. We believe that this will not only improve the user experience but also lead to more effective decision-making and problem-solving, as well as raise a sense of connection and community within the metaverse.

Section 2 - The MetaHero token ecosystem
The MetaHero project is powered by the MetaHero (HERO) token, which serves as the primary currency for all transactions within the network. In this section, we will describe the role of HERO tokens in the MetaHero environment.
The role of the MetaHero tokens in the system
HERO tokens are the primary currency of the MetaHero network and are used to facilitate all transactions within the system. This includes the purchase of avatar scans, virtual try-ons, and access to certain features or services. HERO tokens can also be earned through participation in the MetaHero community, such as by contributing valuable feedback or ideas. In order to interact with any of the services in the Metahero ecosystem, one will have to purchase Hero tokens either directly from exchanges, or via an onramp gateway linked to the open market, built directly into our platform. Either way, the hero token is the key to the use of all services and utilities.
Avatar manager
We are creating an avatar managing system for users to see and manage their scans, where the main currency will be the MetaHero token. This system will allow users to view and edit their avatar scans, as well as track the usage and locations of their scans within the MetaHero network. Users will also have the ability to verify and approve the use of their scans for various purposes, such as virtual try-ons or gaming.
The use of NFTs
NFT Technology plays a vital part in the MetaHero project. Given the sensitive nature of the data being transferred, the minting of users scans as NFTs on the blockchain allow for clear verification of ownership when monetizing, trading, or using one’s scans. In addition, the implementation of Web3 technologies aligns with our commitment to preserving user privacy and decentralizing control of personal data.
NFT marketplace
In addition to these uses, HERO tokens will also be the primary currency for the MetaHero NFT marketplace, a platform for buying and selling non-fungible tokens (NFTs). These NFTs can represent a wide range of assets, including virtual clothing and accessories for avatars, unique virtual spaces, and even one-of-a-kind digital artworks.
B2B marketplace
In addition to the consumer facing NFT marketplace, we are also planning to launch a B2B marketplace for trading between the MetaHero system and large companies. This platform will allow businesses to purchase avatar scans and NFTs in bulk, as well as access various features and services on the MetaHero platform.
Stability and Inflation
MH tokens are designed to be a hard-capped and reliable form of currency within the network, with a fixed total supply (10,000,000,000 HERO) to prevent inflation. This is to provide the token with the best chance of consistency over time, allowing users to have further confidence in the long-term stability of their assets.
Token distribution and platform revenue share
The MetaHero (HERO) token is a BEP-20 token built on the BNB blockchain and can be bought, sold, and traded on various cryptocurrency exchanges. In addition to serving as a currency, the HERO token allows to be a part of the MetaHero platform and entitles holders to certain rights and benefits.
One of the key benefits of the HERO token is the opportunity for holders to participate in the platform's revenue share. At MetaHero, we believe in fostering a strong and supportive community, and as such, we are committed to sharing a portion of the platform's income with HERO token holders. Specifically, we plan to allocate 10% of the platform's revenue to the 20% of the HERO token holder community. The final decision on what they choose to do with this revenue will be subject to a vote from the top 20% of holders. With potential options including: Profit share between these wallets, the burning of tokens, contributions towards development, or charity donations. The share would be distributed to token holders on a quarterly basis, based on the number of HERO tokens held. We believe that this revenue share model not only benefits HERO token holders, but also aligns the interests of the community with those of the MetaHero platform. By providing a financial incentive for the success of the platform, we hope to create a sense of ownership and engagement among the community and encourage the growth and development of the MetaHero network.
Voting & Further Rewards
As part of further initiatives to reward those engaging with our platform. The top 20% of wallets will receive a variety of benefits as part of our intention to reward ongoing interaction with our project. This may range from discounts and early access to platform services, exclusive drops of digital and/or physical items and proportionately weighted voting rights on a number of key project decisions. Voting power will be proportionate to the amount of $Hero Tokens held. More Tokens held = Greater voting power.
Section 3 - How the MetaHero platform works
The MetaHero avatar scanning network allows users to create highly realistic and accurate avatars of themselves using 3D scanning technology. In this section, we will describe the scanning process and how users can manage their avatar scans.
The scanning process
To create an avatar scan, users can visit one of our scanning centers located in major cities around the world. These centers are equipped with state-of-the-art 3D scanners that capture detailed and accurate measurements of the user's body, including facial features and even the texture of their skin.
The scanning process is quick and non-invasive and typically takes less than 15 minutes to complete. Once the scan is finished, the data is processed, and the user's avatar is generated. The user can then review and customize their avatar, adjusting various features such as hairstyle, skin tone, and facial features.
Managing your avatar scan
Once the avatar is created, users can access and manage their scan through the MetaHero app. In the app, user can view their avatar and make further customizations if desired. They can also view a list of all the places their avatar has been used and choose to opt-in or out of certain uses if they wish. In addition, the app allows users to view their HERO token balance and track their transactions within the MetaHero network. Users can also earn HERO tokens by participating in the MetaHero B2B marketplace, where they can lend their avatar scans to other companies for use in their own products or services. The app also includes various activities that allow users to earn HERO tokens, such as participating in surveys or providing valuable feedback.
Business model
The MetaHero platform generates revenue through a variety of channels, including payments for avatar scans and in-app purchases. To ensure that the community is rewarded for their contribution to the platform's success, we will be sharing 10% of platform revenue with the top 20% of HERO token holders. This distribution will be transparent and implemented on a regular basis to ensure that token holders are fairly compensated for their support of the platform. In addition to platform revenue, the MetaHero company will also earn income through cooperation with other businesses, facilitating eCommerce transactions, and through the use of avatar scans in gaming and healthcare applications.
Ecommerce
In addition to generating revenue through avatar scans and in-app purchases, the MetaHero platform will also facilitate eCommerce transactions by enabling users to use their avatar scans on external eCommerce platforms. By using their scans to virtually try on clothing and other products, users can make more informed and confident purchase decisions. As a result, we believe that this feature will drive sales and increase customer satisfaction for eCommerce websites. To support this feature, the MetaHero platform will earn a small conversion fee from participating eCommerce websites, similar to how cashback companies operate. This allows us to continue improving and expanding the platform, while also providing users with a convenient and seamless shopping experience. Overall, our business model is designed to create value for both the MetaHero company and our users. We believe that by fostering a strong and engaged community, we can create a sustainable and successful platform that benefits everyone involved.
Gaming
Avatar scans created on the MetaHero platform can also be used in the gaming industry, allowing users to bring their own unique and realistic avatars into virtual gaming environments. This enhances the immersion and realism of the gaming experience and can lead to increased player engagement and satisfaction. To facilitate this use case, the MetaHero platform will offer access to its avatar scans to gaming companies through a licensing model. Gaming companies can purchase the right to use avatar scans in their games, and users can also choose to connect their avatar scans to specific games for a one-time payment. This allows users to bring their own unique avatars into the gaming experience, while also providing a new revenue stream for the MetaHero platform.
Healthcare and fitness applications
In addition to virtual try-ons and gaming, the MetaHero platform also has potential applications in the healthcare and fitness industries. By using highly accurate avatar scans, healthcare professionals can provide personalized medical consultations and treatments, while fitness companies can offer customized exercise and workout plans. Users can connect their avatar scans to specific healthcare or fitness apps or programs for a one-time payment, enabling them to receive personalized care and fitness plans. The MetaHero platform also has the opportunity to generate revenue through licensing agreements with healthcare and fitness companies, who can purchase the right to use avatar scans in their products and services. Our business model aims to create value for both the MetaHero company and our users. We believe that by cultivating a strong and engaged community, we can create a sustainable and successful platform that benefits all parties involved.
B2B Marketplace
In addition to the various ways that users can earn HERO tokens within the MetaHero platform, we also offer a B2B marketplace for companies to purchase avatar scans for use in their own products and services. This marketplace is designed to take advantage of the unique value proposition of our platform - namely, the creation of the largest 3D scan database in the world. Tech companies in a wide range of industries, from gaming and furniture design to clothing and sound system development, can benefit from access to detailed and accurate scans of the human body. By purchasing scans through the
MetaHero B2B marketplace, these companies can save time and resources on creating their own scans and can also access a higher level of precision and detail than may be possible with other methods. The MetaHero B2B marketplace is a key revenue stream for the company, as it allows us to monetize the value of our 3D scan database. However, it also has the potential to create value for our users by providing them with new opportunities to earn HERO tokens through the sale of their avatar scans.
Section 4 - The Benefits of Using Avatar Scans
The MetaHero offers a wide range of benefits for its users, including virtual try-ons of clothing, gaming, and even medical applications. In this section, we will delve into each of these use cases in more detail and provide examples of how avatar scans can be used in practice.
Virtual Try-Ons
One of the primary benefits of avatar scans is the ability to virtually try on clothing and accessories. According to a study by the National Retail Federation, returns of online purchases account for around 10% of all sales, with the majority of returns due to fit issues (National Retail Federation, 2021). By using an avatar scan, users can see exactly how an item will look on their virtual self, allowing them to make more informed purchasing decisions and reduce the likelihood of returns.
In addition, virtual try-ons can save users time and money by reducing the need for in-store shopping and returns. This is especially beneficial for users who live in areas without convenient access to physical retail stores, or who have mobility issues that make in-store shopping difficult. For example, a user in a rural area may not have easy access to a department store but can still try on clothes virtually using their avatar scan.
Gaming
Avatar scans can also be used in gaming, allowing players to use highly realistic and accurate representations of themselves in virtual worlds. According to a study by the Entertainment Software Association, 65% of American adults play video games, with many of them seeking out immersive and personalized experiences (Entertainment Software Association, 2021). By using avatar scans, players can more fully inhabit their chosen character and better express their own personality and appearance, leading to a more engaging and enjoyable gaming experience. Avatar scans can be particularly useful in games that involve role-playing, as they allow players to inhabit their chosen character more fully and better express their own personality and appearance. For example, in a role-playing game set in a fantasy world, a player can create an avatar scan that accurately represents their appearance and then customize their character's clothing and accessories to match their own style.
Healthcare
Avatar scans can also have practical applications in the medical field. According to a review by Liu et al. (2018), the use of virtual reality in medical training and treatment has been shown to be effective in a variety of areas, including surgical planning, rehabilitation, and telemedicine. For example, doctors can use avatar scans to create virtual models of a patient's body, which can be used to plan surgeries or other medical procedures. These models can be especially useful in cases where a patient has a rare or complex condition, as they can help doctors better understand the patient's anatomy and make more informed treatment decisions.
Avatar scans can also be used to create virtual rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. By using an avatar to track a patient's progress, doctors can more easily monitor their recovery and adjust their treatment plan as needed. For example, a patient recovering from a knee injury can use an avatar scan to do virtual physiotherapy exercises, allowing them to track their progress and receive feedback from their therapist in real-time.
In addition, avatar scans can be used in telemedicine, allowing doctors and patients to have more realistic and interactive virtual consultations. This can be especially beneficial for patients who live in remote areas or who have difficulty traveling to in-person appointments. For example, a patient living in a rural area may have limited access to specialized medical care but can still receive treatment from a specialist remotely using an avatar scan.

Section 5 - The Future of the Metaverse
The MetaHero avatar scanning network is just the beginning of what we envision as the future of the metaverse. In this section, we will explore some of the potential future developments and applications of avatar scans, and how they could shape the way we live, work, and interact with each other.
Augmented Reality
One potential future development for avatar scans is the use of augmented reality (AR) technology. By combining avatar scans with AR, users could project their virtual selves into the real world, allowing for even more immersive and interactive experiences.
For example, imagine being able to attend a virtual conference or event and see other attendees' avatars in the same physical space as you. You could interact with them as if they were there, using gestures and facial expressions to communicate. This could have significant implications for the way we work and socialize, allowing us to connect with people from around the world in a more natural and authentic way.
Education
Avatar scans could also have applications in education, allowing students to engage with course materials more fully and interact with their peers and teachers in a virtual environment. For example, a student could use an avatar scan to participate in a virtual lab or field trip, or to attend a virtual office hour with a professor.
By using avatars, students can more fully participate in class discussions and activities, and teachers can use avatars to demonstrate concepts in a more immersive and realistic way."
Virtual Reality
Avatar scans could also be used in conjunction with virtual reality (VR) technology to create even more immersive and interactive experiences. By using an avatar scan to create a virtual
version of yourself, you could fully inhabit a virtual world and interact with other users in a more natural and authentic way.

Section 7 - The Token economics of the MetaHero
At MetaHero, we have developed a token economic model to support the growth and development of the avatar scanning network. The main currency of the network is the MetaHero (HERO) token, which serves as a means of exchange and enables users to access various features and services within the network.
The HERO token is an BSC-20 token built on the BNB blockchain, and can be bought, sold, and traded on various cryptocurrency exchanges. In addition to serving as a currency, the HERO token also represents ownership in the MetaHero platform and entitles holders to certain rights and benefits. One of the key benefits of the HERO token is that it provides users with a way to monetize their avatar scans. Users can choose to allow their avatar scans to be used for various purposes, such as virtual try-ons of clothing, participation in virtual events or be a part of gaming creation process and earn HERO tokens in return. This not only provides users with an additional source of income, but also incentivizes the creation and sharing of high-quality avatar scans. The token economic model of the MetaHero network has several advantages. First, it allows users to directly participate in the growth and development of the platform by purchasing HERO tokens. Thanks to the internal voting system it gives a sense of ownership, because token holders can influence the platform’s roadmap and decision making and be a part of the platform’s revenue stream.
Second, the token model incentivizes the creation and sharing of high-quality avatar scans, as users can earn HERO tokens by allowing their scans to be used for various purposes. This not only benefits the users themselves but also helps to create a rich and diverse ecosystem of avatar scans within the network.
Finally, the HERO token serves as a means of exchange within the MetaHero network, enabling users to access various features and services. This includes the ability to purchase virtual goods and services, participate in virtual events, and more. Overall, the token economics of the MetaHero network provide a unique and valuable opportunity for users to participate in the growth and development of the platform, monetize their avatar scans, and access various features and services throughout the network. We believe that this model will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and sustainability of the MetaHero platform, and in turn, helping to bring the metaverse closer to reality.
Section 8 – The scanning device
The MetaHero scanning device is a state-of-the-art photogrammetry 3D chamber that allows users to create highly realistic and accurate avatar scans of themselves. Photogrammetry is a well-established method for creating 3D models from 2D images and has been used in various fields such as architecture, engineering, and film production (Koskela, 2019). The MetaHero scanning device utilizes high-quality cameras to capture detailed and accurate measurements of the user's body from every angle, as well as specialized lights to highlight each detail of the body. This results in scans with 8k resolution of each part of the body (2023, with even higher resolutions possible depending on the purpose), including perfect skin details and body shape.
The use of photogrammetry in avatar scanning has several advantages. First, it allows for the creation of highly accurate and realistic models of the human body. Previous research has shown that photogrammetry-based models have high levels of accuracy and can capture subtle details of the human body such as wrinkles, pores, and hairs. In addition, photogrammetry is a non-invasive and quick method for creating avatar scans, making it convenient and accessible for users. (Gong et al., 2020). Second, photogrammetry is a non-invasive and quick method for creating avatar scans, with the process typically taking less than 15 minutes to complete. This makes it convenient and accessible for users to create avatar scans on a regular basis.
In the future, the MetaHero team is considering allowing users to update their body geometrics through their phones, using the exact body details and an internal body prediction system. This function would allow users to have their avatar scans reflect their real-life body shape at all times, ensuring a more seamless and immersive experience within the metaverse. By using their avatar scans in virtual try-ons, gaming, and even medicine, users can make more informed and accurate decisions that can then be translated back into the real world.
